Trials and Tribulations of a Young New Yorker and His Travels

The New Crib

So I moved into an apartment earlier this week, finding one was actually quite stressful, but the wait was worth it.  I found a place right in the middle of Palermo, which is the trendy neighborhood here in Buenos Aires.

Common Area

The groundfloor apartment may lack views or sunlight but it definitely has some character to it.  As you can see in the pictures I have a lofted bed which takes up nearly half the apartment, with the dinning room/living room/kitchen combo taking up the other half.

The place has been great so far besides needing a plumber to fix a leaking toilet (its still leaking) on the second day and the TV not turning on for any apparent reason. Also there is no AC which has been real rough a couple times when it hits the upper 90s.  I have started cooking some meals in the mini kitchen with some decent succes, but nothing Top Chef worthy yet though. So while it doesn’t have the glamor and glitz, it serve its purpose and keeps me right in the center of all the action.
