Volunteering Part 2


Last Friday when I was volunteering I was able to take some pictures of our group playing with the kids. On that day we were not in Ciudad Oculta, the slum village, but rather a homeless shelter in the southern part of Buenos Aires.


The shelter which is more or less a fenced in compound, has a large airport like hanger that is divided into rooms for the people. Around the structure is a large yard with smaller buildings in it, but with sufficient room for the kids to play. We spent most of the day in one of the small buildings (seen below) playing board games and drawing with the children.
